It’s hard to fully capture the scope of this project, with art spread across 8 main buildings. As you walk through Core Space’s the new renovated student housing complex, you’re greeted by something new at almost every corner—a mix of colors and patterns that transform everyday spaces into moments of discovery.

In collaboratiom with chicago-based agency Johalla Projects, NNUZZO designed and producted custom murals to bring a sense of youth, lightness, and a pop of color throughout the space. With budget and install time as a limiting factor, we designed repeatable motifs that have high-impact but can be installed efficiently.

With an incredible paint crew of six, we had 10 days to paint 17 walls of murals (some big, some small) but it was a wonderful challange that the team was able to pull off seamlessly.
