For this residential mural project, our client wanted to add a very simple mural that would compliment the existing massive mural on the adjacent wall by artist David Dauncey. In Dauncey’s mural, there’s a black and white portrait of our client’s father driving. We thought, “Why not add a scene of where we imagine him driving - a glowy sunset into the mountain preserve that’s nearby.” It adds a focal point to this wall without it being too busy or completing with the already-gorgeous space.
